Instructions to Unlock BlackBerry Pearl

Insert a SIM card to your BlackBerry Pearl
Then make sure all the connections (WIFI and Radio) are off: (Go to "Manage Connections" > "Turn all Connections Off")
Go to the "Options" menu (or "Settings" > "Options") and select "Advanced Options"
From the "Advanced Options" menu Select "SIM Card" and press it to enter.
in the SIM Card screen type "MEPPD" (Notice that you will not see what you are typing)
Then, type "MEPP2" (for Telus network carrier type "MEPP4") but hold the "ALT" key for the number in this order: MEPP(hold ALT)2. (notice that what you are typing will not show on screen)
On the next screen type your unlocking code of your BlackBerry Pearl and Press "Enter". if you don't see the code when you type it repeat steps 5-6.
You will see a message that say "Code Accepted", if you get error message try to use another code.
Restart your BlackBerry Pearl. Then, turn the connctions back ON ("Manage Connections" > "Restore Connections") and your BlackBerry Pearl is now unlocked
